There is no more ground

by Mahima Rupakula

There is no more ground
Ever sturdy and living
And there is no more soil
Though it feels so real
Never forget to try, Mahima,
Never forget to go fly
There is a big cloud-
Where you can spread your wings
There, I hear a voice;
In its tone
Is caring, something you’ve never heard here:
Ridhima, my sister,
Away from the rain I now escaped, come!

A replacement poem based on "There is another sky”
by Emily Dickinson

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields -
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!
